Adient Changchun Technical Center

At Adient, we know that our products and processes improve when we work together – and the Changchun Technical Center allows us to do just that. A joint venture between Adient and Changchun Faway, this facility is staffed by more than 300 designers, engineers and other experts who have extensive knowledge on seating components, complete seat systems, industrial truck seats, instrument panels, floor consoles and door panels.  That deep expertise enables our Changchun team to provide key services to our customers, such as benchmarking, industrial design, product development, advanced engineering, prototyping, finite element analysis and a full range of testing and mold design. Situated in the capital of China’s auto industry, the 15,500-square-meter center also boasts an industrial design studio, prototype shops, testing labs – including a sled lab and comfort lab – and a mini JIT plant.
